How it is worked out
- 1The supplement is a percentage of your basic salary: 20% in Inner London, 15% in Outer London and 5% in the fringe.
- 2Each zone has a minimum and maximum yearly amount, so low earners get a floor and high earners a cap.
- 3Part-time staff get the full-time amount scaled to their hours.
Worth knowing
- Which zone applies depends on where your workplace is, not where you live. Your employer will confirm it.
